Receipts are the trust substrate

A receipt proves a bounded event. It does not prove the future.

Promise before result

Record what was promised before work begins. Record result and evidence after. Preserve the mismatch; it is more useful than a polished retrospective.

What a receipt can prove

A local receipt can show that a learner wrote a memo. A work receipt can show that someone submitted evidence for review. A settlement receipt can show an amount, asset, timestamp, recipient, and transaction reference. Do not upgrade one into another.

The human-help test

The useful question is whether accepted work changes project capacity or evidence. If the only measured output is token attention, you have measured a market event.

Do the work

Draft one promise/result/evidence receipt for a helper role. Include what remains unverified.

Falsifier: If a project cannot produce a receipt that survives independent reading, do not treat its narrative as diligence.
