Why bring human help in?
Capital is not the only scarce resource. The mechanism must explain why people, not merely money, are needed.
The resource map
A project may need attention, research, editing, engineering, distribution, judgment, introductions, care, or accountability. “Funding” is too vague until the missing capability is named.
The human-help loop
A defensible loop is: a project names a bottleneck → a person contributes bounded work → the work leaves a receipt → the project changes → the next need becomes more legible. The token cannot replace the receipt.
Avoiding extraction
A human-help mechanism must not disguise unpaid labor as community. State who does the work, who decides acceptance, what is owed, and what happens when the work is rejected or disputed.
Do the work
Map three roles: project owner, human helper, and capital provider. For each, name their contribution, decision right, risk, and evidence.
