Build the institution by testing the institution
The university as demand system
BIPU should start from real questions and needs, then route learners toward a course, experiment, professor, artifact, or collaboration. Discovery is part of the product.
The professor model is a hypothesis
The economics-of-education work proposes a structure for tuition, professors, overhead, and educational capital. That is a model to test, not a demonstrated outcome.
The student as operator
A student should leave with a problem frame, shipped artifact, receipt, better questions, and clearer next action.
The public boundary
Public work can show claims and artifacts without exposing private conversations, credentials, wallets, or sensitive learner data. Transparency is not indiscriminate disclosure.
Do the work
Capstone: choose one real problem, run five qualified conversations, make one bounded offer, run one external test, publish the evidence boundary, and write a kill/revise/expand memo.
