Building in Public as a Way to Learn
Building in public is not a requirement to publish every private thought. It is a practice of making useful work, decisions, and evidence visible enough for other people to learn from.
Publish the work, not the performance
A useful public update says what you tried, what happened, and what you will do next. It does not need to pretend the result was inevitable or turn uncertainty into a personal brand.
Invite specific feedback
Broad requests for thoughts produce broad reactions. Ask a question someone can answer: where did the process break, which assumption seems weak, or what would make the result more useful?
Let the record change
Public work becomes trustworthy when it includes revisions and misses. Keep the original claim visible, explain what changed, and distinguish a new hypothesis from a settled result.
