CONCEPT 03 · CASE STUDY
The compounding loop
Where does value accumulate over time?
A compounding story needs a loop, not an adjective. A useful map names the input, the action, the accumulation point, the feedback signal, and the condition that breaks the loop. Without those five pieces, “compounding” is decorative finance language.
TRY THIS
Make the mechanism smaller.
Write the loop as five arrows. Do not use “more value” as a box; name the measurable thing that becomes deeper, more liquid, more owned, or more useful.
Falsifier to carry forward: If volume rises while reserve depth, user count, or usability does not, is the loop compounding or only accelerating?
